Q: When is the optimal time to start a 2nd Story Addition?
A: With any addition, you can expect 2-3 months for the building process. The time will vary depending
on the dimensions of your addition and if there is already and existing basement under where the new
addition is to be added. If there is no existing basement structure under where the new addition is
to be built, then your addition process will require more time due to the necessity of a basement foundation for support.
