Q: How would we go about designing an addition right for our family and how long does this process take?
A: It depends. If you, the homeowner, know exactly what items you would like to have built into your project then
the design and education process is greatly reduced. In most cases we work with our clients to educate them on
products that have been efficient and functionally sound for previous clients. This process length can vary, as
project scope needs to be defined to meet specific client's needs. Available time for the homeowner to make
selections also can lengthen the design process. Historically this process can vary from 3-6 weeks.
Q: How long does a normal build process for an addition take? What are the time constraints we should take note of?
A: A usual build process usually takes anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks depending on weather and site conditions and
also how large your addition is.
Q: How safe is our family around the workspace?
A: As far as the workspace goes, Tomco's team of subcontractors make sure that the workspace is clean and
secure every day after the work day is through. Steps will be taken to protect you and your family.
