Tomco’s Tom Schiebout Recognized as Master Certified Remodeler (MCR)
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recognized Tomco Company President Tom Schiebout last night for achieving Master Certified Remodeler (MCR) certification. Tom is one of only two Minnesota remodeling contractors and 65 nationwide to earn the distinction.

NARI MN Executive Director Nick Cichowicz, JD, commended Tom before a gathering of more than 80 NARI members at International Market Square last night.
Master Certified Remodelers have passed the test of time and continue to be successful, Cichowicz observed. He told the contractors group, “You are here is not only to build your network and become better professionals but to see what other members are doing. You can learn from the great work that Tom has done over the years.”
To be considered for MCR honors, a NARI member must have held the Certified Remodeler (CR) certification for 10 years, hold at least one other NARI certification, exemplify the NARI code of ethics and standards, and have contributed time to support the association and the remodeling industry. Tom holds the Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler (CKBR) credentials from NARI and the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification from the National Association of Homebuilders. Earlier this year, Tomco Company received a regional Contractor of the Year Award.
“I’m happy for Tomco Company to be judged by the work we do, but industry certifications like this, online reviews and more than 30 years in business are additional ways homeowners can qualify us for their remodeling projects,” Tom said.
